Customer Velocity was formed by founders Jim Alexander and Rob Neumann to bring innovation and excellence to the builder market because they believed that home builders were underserved by current solutions. With the addition of Brandon Brown as VP and Chief Software Architect, they were soon proved correct. The three leaders of CV have created the leading home building lead management and web content tool sets; however they never set their sights only on homebuilding. World class software can compete in several playgrounds. The key markets for service identified early on include a total of 12 markets that have related characteristics of a distributed sales force, high value sales and long marketing cycles. The next key to their vision include creating software that bring together four previously unrelated facets of software services into one: web content management, CRM, e-mail marketing and analytics.
